Position Overview

Under general direction, performs storekeeping activities in the downstate warehouse; assists in the receipt, storage and distribution of office supplies and commodities and shipping of orders from various divisions; assists in maintaining inventory records.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Performs storekeeping activities in the downstate warehouse.
  2. Assists in the receipt and established storage procedures of ordered and/or returned items, updates, and processes requisitions on the automated SAP/ERP System.
  3. Conducts estimates of stock needs.
  4. Packages commodities for shipment to other locations according to established packing and shipment procedures.
  5. Assists with periodic and physical inventories of the downstate warehouse.
  6. Maintains personal work area and common areas are picked up, clean and organized on a daily basis.
  7. Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of duties enumerated above.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of four years high school.
  2. Requires one-year experience in the keeping of stores and stores records.

Conditions of Employment

  1. Requires the ability to lift over 50 lbs.
