As we continue to fight the ongoing battle of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Illinois Department of Public Health is seeking a COVID-19 Community Engagement Specialist to work with communities througout the State of Illinois to identify individuals who might be helpful to COVID-19 managemnet and specifically to the vaccine rollout.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Work with communities throughout the State of Illinois to identify individuals who might be helpful to COVID-19 management and specifically to the vaccine rollout
  • Assist in the State's mission to control the pandemic by providing outreach, resources, and other support necessary to a culturally diverse audience
  • Provide communities with informaiton resources, skills training, and other support they require to be successful

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • This position requires a background in community engagement, ideally with a specialty in public health 

Work Hours:  Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm 
Work Location: All work may be done remotely from any location but occasional travel may be required to meet deliverables
