This is a remote work position, but candidate may choose to work at ICJIA’s downtown Chicago office during the agency’s regular business hours Monday thru Friday (8:30 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.) pending availability.
This is a full-time position. The selected candidate must work 37.5 hours per week. The selected candidate will start as soon as possible.
This position is TEMPORARY and does NOT include state benefits.
POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a graphic designer to help our Research & Analysis Unit add visual appeal to their work products. The Research & Analysis Unit produces reports on criminal justice topics for multiple audiences, including policymakers, justice system practitioners, and academic researchers. This is a part-time remote position, ideal for a freelancer or designer seeking extra work.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field
- Two or more years of professional experience developing graphic design products.
- Proficiency using the Adobe Creative Cloud software suite as evidenced by at least two years of use in professional or academic settings.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to simultaneously manage multiple graphic design projects as evidenced by at least one year of experience working on multiple projects simultaneously for the same organization or multiple organizations.
