Position Overview

Under direction, serves as a working supervisor to staff engaged in specialized clerical and office support activities. Supervises staff assigned to LINK, DATACAP, Timekeeping staff activities in the Family Community Resource Center, including manual and electronic file and document maintenance, reception and switchboard, and mailroom incoming/outgoing mail activities.

Job Responsibilities

25%        1. Serves as a working supervisor.

 

20%        2. Monitors staff engaged in performing a variety of complex, specialized clerical functions.

 

15%        3. Monitor follow up and facilitates the completion of processing documents and mail maintenance in DATACAP by office.

 

15%        4. Monitor and follow up on timekeeping.

 

10%        5. Facilitates weekly/monthly meetings with subordinate staff.

 

5%          6. Responds to emails within 24 hours of receipt.

 

5%          7. Completes mandated training, i.e. Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

 

5%          8. Performs other duties as assigned or required, reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.

Minimum Qualifications

Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to completion of two years study at a secretarial/business college and one year of office experience

OR 

completion of high school and three years of Office Assistant experience

OR

three years of independent business experience.

Work Hours:  8:30 am-5:00 pm Monday-Friday
