Position Overview

Join our dynamic team and play a key role in identifying and evaluating high-potential investment opportunities. In this position, you will collaborate directly with companies and senior leadership to assess investment viability, analyze financial performance, and develop strategic recommendations that drive informed decision-making. You will prepare detailed investment memos, present findings to the Investment Committee, and contribute to critical investment evaluations. This role also offers the opportunity to oversee investment data management and reporting processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence. Ideal candidates are analytical, detail-oriented professionals with strong financial analysis, communication, and presentation skills who thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

Essential Functions

  • Participates in meetings with companies to evaluate investment viability. 
  • Conducts analysis of financial documents to assess fiscal health of a company and provide assessments based on defined criteria. 
  • Authors comprehensive investment memos and deal evaluations, synthesizing complex data into actionable insights for the executive team. 
  • Presents research on companies to the Investment Committee for investment decisions. 
  • Manages and audits investment data pipelines, ensuring accuracy in work management platform and high-fidelity reporting for internal tracking and regulatory compliance. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of four (4) years of college, preferably with courses in business, economics, finance, entrepreneurship, public policy or public administration. 
  • Requires two (2) years of prior experience in the full investment lifecycle, including sourcing deal flow, conducting financial due diligence, identifying market opportunities and articulating investment recommendations. 

Preferred Qualfications

  • Prefers four (4) or more years of professional experience managing the investment lifecycle, from lead generation to successful exit. 
  • Prefers four (4) or more years of professional experience conducting due diligence, financial modeling and investment memorandums on prospective investments. 
  • Prefers four (4) or more years of professional experience with public presentations and cross-functional stakeholder communication. 
  • Prefers advanced level of experience utilizing software applications such as Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, and investment reporting/tracking systems.
