Essential Functions

  • Under direction, provides direct patient care.
  • Serves as lead worker.
  • Assist physician with rounds.
  • Reviews member medical records to assure that physician orders are posted, medication and member care treatment and observations are charted.
  • Verify number and classification of staff available to assign/reassign.
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Requires graduation from an approved nursing education program resulting in an associate degree or diploma in nursing and two (2) years of progressively responsible professional nursing experience; OR a bachelor’s degree in nursing and one (1) year of professional nursing experience; OR a master’s degree in nursing.
  • Requires licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois.
