ANNUAL SALARY: MIN. $49,960 MAX. $64,952
Anticipated salary: Anticipating start salary is $49,960 annually
LINCOLNS CHALLENGE ACADEMY EMPLOYEE HOURS:
8 Hours daily - Between the hours of 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Can vary based on mission requirements
SCHEDULE:
Must work until 7:00 pm one night a week
Must work one weekend a month
Essential Function 1
Manages the plans and training schedule of the Lincoln’s Challenge cadets to ensure that the required objectives are achieved in accordance with the Eight Core Objectives.
Essential Function 2
- Coordinates Service to Community opportunities and conducts outreach for additional S2C options.
• Community Blood Drive. - In conjunction with the LCA Lead Case Manager, schedules vocational opportunities with credit and certificate granting organizations.
- Coordinates extracurricular activities.
• Sign-up rosters
• Schedules - Coordinate and execute community service and other special projects.
• Assists the Chief of Staff in administering special events including the in-processing, pass, and graduation of cadets.
Minimum Qualifications 1
- Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of two years college.
- Requires four years supervisory and/or administrative military experience.
Preferred Qualifications 1
Prefers active membership in the Illinois National Guard, any Reserve Component, or retired (20 years) U.S. Armed Forces.
Employment Condition 1
1. Requires the ability to pass a DoD background investigation.
2. Requires ability to travel in the performance of duties, with overnight stays as appropriate. Requires appropriate, valid driver’s license.
3. Required to work a flex work schedule including weekends and evenings when necessary to meet agency needs.
4. This position is considered light work as defined by the U.S. Department of Labor (20 CFR 404.1567(b)). Light work involves lifting no more than 20 pounds at a time with frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 pounds. This job may require a good deal of walking or standing or involves sitting most of the time.
