LINCOLNS CHALLENGE ACADEMY EMPLOYEE HOURS:
8 Hours – 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Can vary based on mission requirements
SCHEDULE: Monday thru Friday; Must work one (1) weekend a mth

Essential Function 1
Onboarding and Training.
• Coordinate and facilitate new hire orientation.
• Management of the staff using the national on-line learning management system.
• Maintain training files for all staff members.
• Schedule training for staff members.
• Provide supplemental training as required by State and local requirements.
Essential Function 2
Administers the formulation and implementation of staff training programs.
• Develop staff training plans and schedules training for all Lincoln’s Challenge Academy staff.
• Evaluate staff performance to determine specific gaps and training needs
• Coordinates time and place for all staff training.
Essential Function 3
Curriculum development and coaching.
• Design and deliver comprehensive training programs focused on at-risk youth needs, including de-escalation tactics and crisis intervention.
• Provide feedback on behavior management strategies.
Minimum Qualifications 1
Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of two years college and one year administrative experience.
Preferred Qualifications 1
1. Prefers working knowledge of the methods and techniques of developing and conducting programs.
2. Prefers ability to establish and maintain satisfactory working relationships with employees, public officials, and the public.
3. Prefers ability to plan, organize, and coordinate activities of staff and students.
Employment Condition 1
1. Requires the ability to pass a DoD background investigation.
2. Requires a valid driver’s license in the appropriate classification as required by law.
3. Required to work a flex work schedule including weekends and evenings when necessary to meet agency needs.
4. This position is considered light work as defined by the U.S. Department of Labor (20 CFR 404.1567(b)). Light work involves lifting no more than 20 pounds at a time with frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 pounds. This job may require a good deal of walking or standing or involves sitting most of the time with some pushing and pulling of arm or leg controls.
