Job Responsibilities

The contractor shall:

  • organize, plan, execute, control and evaluate the sporting clay program daily shooting activities;
  • develop and implement program policies and procedures to assure the safety and entertainment of shooters;
  • establish long-term programmatic goals and objectives;
  • develops and reviews public evaluations of shooting activities to ensure activity content and quality;
  • review operations and implement changes to improve efficiency and attendance;
  • implement and strictly enforce all rules and shooter safety regulations. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to completion of four years of college.
  • Prefers at least one year of planning and participation in Sporting Clays events or similar events.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of National Sporting Clays Association rules and regulations along with firearms safety.
  • Experience in repair of small machinery.
  • Ability to operate agricultural, industrial equipment such as tractor, UTV, forklift, etc.
  • Availability on most weekends, nights, or holidays from spring - fall.
  • Must be able to lift, pull and carry heavy objects.
  • Must be able to perform under high stress situations while hosting events. 

Conditions of Employment

  • Requires possession of a valid driver's license.
  • Must be able to work outdoors for long periods of time, even in inclement weather.
