Essential Functions
- Responsible for maintaining the Department's receivables collection and reporting system. Acts as a liaison with bureaus regarding the collection and reporting system.
- Responsible for processing cash receipts on a daily basis for fees remitted by the Department's operating programs.
- Deposits Treasury Clearing drafts issued by the State Treasurer into the proper fund held by the State Comptroller.
- Performs cash and check deposit functions.
- Responsible for Accounts Payable review.
- Reconciles SAP reports with Comptroller's monthly reports and performs interest write-offs.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
Minimum Qualifications
- Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of four years of college, with courses in business administration and accounting or four years of technical accounting experience.
- Qualifying state employees in the employee Upward Mobility Program, may complete combinations of specific proficiency tests and training programs leading to a certificate of proficiency in lieu of the stated requirements for this classification.

- Requires completion of a name-based background screening and self-disclosure of criminal history.
- Requires ability to travel in the performance of duties. Requires appropriate, valid driver’s license.
- Overtime is a condition of employment, and you may be requested or required/mandated to work overtime including scheduled, unscheduled, or last-minute overtime. This requires the ability to work evenings and weekends.
- This position is considered sedentary work as defined by the U.S. Department of Labor (20 CFR 404.1567(a)). Sedentary work involves lifting no more than 10 pounds at a time and requires occasional lifting, carrying, walking, and standing.
