Essential Functions
- Assist Bureau Chief with the creation of documentation relative to legal proceedings for the bureau and assist in the collection and processing of fines imposed.
- Serves as Bureau’s personnel and Budget and Fiscal Liaison
- Assists subordinates, supervisors, and management on various projects
- Composes complex letters, reports, plans, memorandums
- Attend various meetings and seminars to keep informed on current rules, regulations, policies and procedures
- Proctors and serves, as needed, on interview panels.
- Performs other duties as assigned or required which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
Minimum Qualifications
- Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of four years of college, preferably with courses in business, public administration.
- Requires one (1) year of professional experience in a public or private organization, or completion of an agency approved professional management training program.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prefers extensive knowledge of Division programs and service objectives, activities, and operational systems.
- Prefers working knowledge of agency programs, rules and regulations.
- Prefers extensive knowledge of computer program applications.
- Prefers two (2) years of experience working in a public or private organization maintaining confidentiality of information.
- Prefers extensive knowledge of manual and automated office equipment.
- Prefers extensive knowledge of arithmetic computations.
- Prefers working knowledge and background in Personnel and Budgetary.
- Prefers extensive knowledge of principles of office management.
Conditions of Employment
- Requires ability to pass background check and self-disclosure of criminal history.
- Requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to occasionally travel statewide.
