Essential Functions

  • Assist Bureau Chief with the creation of documentation relative to legal proceedings for the bureau and assist in the collection and processing of fines imposed. 
  • Serves as Bureau’s personnel and Budget and Fiscal Liaison
  • Assists subordinates, supervisors, and management on various projects
  • Composes complex letters, reports, plans, memorandums
  • Attend various meetings and seminars to keep informed on current rules, regulations, policies and procedures
  • Proctors and serves, as needed, on interview panels.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or required which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of four years of college, preferably with courses in business, public administration.
  • Requires one (1) year of professional experience in a public or private organization, or completion of an agency approved professional management training program.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prefers extensive knowledge of Division programs and service objectives, activities, and operational systems.
  • Prefers working knowledge of agency programs, rules and regulations.
  • Prefers extensive knowledge of computer program applications.
  • Prefers two (2) years of experience working in a public or private organization maintaining confidentiality of information.
  • Prefers extensive knowledge of manual and automated office equipment.
  • Prefers extensive knowledge of arithmetic computations.
  • Prefers working knowledge and background in Personnel and Budgetary.
  • Prefers extensive knowledge of principles of office management.

Conditions of Employment

  • Requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to occasionally travel statewide.
