This position serves as a Computer Support Analyst II performing complex professional and advisory functions in End User Computing (EUC). In this role, you will coordinate and conduct complex software distribution application development for Microsoft networks at onsite user provided facilities using automated software deployment tools such as System Center Configurations Manager (SCCM) or Microsoft Windows/Microsoft installer scripts (MSI), Lite-Touch, and computer programming and/or scripting. In addition, you will serve as a project coordinator for full-range major/complex projects, very large end user hardware/software/application deployments and installations across multiple agencies and locations. Essential Functions
• Under administrative direction, serves as a Computer Support Analyst II for the Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT) performing complex professional and advisory client services functions, including coordinating and conducting complex software distribution application development for Microsoft networks, onsite user provided facilities, and assigned agencies.
• Performs configuration, testing, implementation, documentation and maintenance of desktop/laptop Microsoft Operating Systems and Mac Operating Systems, Microsoft Office client software products, and various software and supported applications.
• Provides both on site and remote end user support for all desktop related issues by resolving user questions/problems including Microsoft 365 Apps for enterprise, Anti-Virus software, and any other agency developed and supported products.
• Serves as a project coordinator for full-range major/complex projects, very large end user hardware, software, and application deployments, including installations across multiple agencies and locations while independently planning, developing, and implementing techniques for gathering and interpreting data.
• Conducts formal training of subordinates and fellow team members on concepts and how to use technical troubleshooting tools, such as Intimidator, PowerShell, BeyondTrust, System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), Active Directory (AD), and current ticketing systems utilized by the state.
• Keeps abreast of new developments in the information technology field by continuing education through online training platforms, meetings, training sessions, seminars, and conferences to increase familiarity with and remain current on products, vendors, techniques, and procedures.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of duties enumerated above.
Minimum Qualifications
• Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to completion of four (4) years of college with course work in computer science or directly related fields.
• Requires three (3) years of professional experience in end user computing, client services or a related Information Technology Field.
Specialized Skills
• Requires three (3) years of professional experience in configuring and maintaining Microsoft Windows and Mac Operating Systems, implementing and supporting Microsoft Office client software products, and administering network services including working with, supporting, and implementing Microsoft System Center and System Center Configuration Manager, Microsoft Intune, and MDT (Lite-Touch), MSI PowerShell-based software distribution scripting and producing implementation documentation aligned to standards/compliance.
• Requires three (3) years of professional experience formally training subordinates on concepts of and how to use technical troubleshooting tools including PowerShell, Intimidator, Scripting, BeyondTrust, System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), Active Directory (AD), Microsoft Intune/MDT (Lite-Touch), and ServiceNow.
• Requires three (3) years of professional experience performing project supervision, including the implementation of new software to a platform on an enterprise network, project scheduling, resource assignment, and oversight of project analyst staff to ensure successful implementation across multiple agencies and locations, including hardware/software consolidation and conversion/migration activities, on-site and off-site deployment coordination, and application of quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) to project deliverables.
• Requires three (3) years of professional experience providing complex technical and analytical security support across an enterprise platform as it relates to devices on a network, including knowledge of firewalls, Domain Naming System (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), network printing services, File Transfer Protocol (FTP), Internet Protocol (IP), group policy security, cloud based cyber-security programs, and the mechanics of end user support services, including Virtual Private Network (VPN) support.
Preferred Qualifications
• Three (3) years of professional experience in configuring and maintaining Microsoft Windows and Mac Operating Systems, implementing and supporting Microsoft Office client software products, and administering network services including working with, supporting, and implementing Microsoft System Center and System Center Configuration Manager, Microsoft Intune, and MDT (Lite-Touch); MSI PowerShell-based software distribution scripting and producing implementation documentation aligned to standards/compliance.

• Ability to analyze data logically and exercise sound judgement in defining and evaluating problems of an operational or procedural nature.
• Ability to gain and maintain effective working relationships with associates, vendors, clients, and others.
• Developed verbal and written communication skills to present technical information clearly and precisely to diverse audiences, including business users, development teams, and agency executives.
