Position Overview

We invite motivated professionals to apply and bring their expertise in cybersecurity, IT compliance, and project leadership to our team. Ideal candidates hold a CISSP or similar certification and offer at least four years of experience developing and managing IT compliance programs, conducting IT system audits, applying multiple SDLC methodologies, and leading IT project management efforts. Essential Functions

  1. Subject to management approval, designs and implements a comprehensive IT governance, risk, and compliance framework.
  2. Conducts regular IT risk assessments and identifies potential threats and vulnerabilities.
  3. Monitors regulatory developments to ensure the organization's compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
  4. Assesses emerging issues and potential liabilities, the effectiveness of internal controls and compliance of IT systems by conducting regular reviews.
  5. Serves as the Agency Technology Service Requester (ATSR), acting as the agency’s authorized submitter for all requests for information technology products and services.
  6. Collaborates with key stakeholders, including executive management, legal, IT, compliance teams, and the DoIT GRC organization, to communicate GRC objectives, initiatives, and progress.
  7. Performs other duties as required which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. Requires a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Public Administration, Regulatory Compliance, Finance, or a related field.
  2. Requires prior experience equivalent to four years of progressively responsible administrative experience conducting ITorganizational governance, risk, and compliance in a public or business organization.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Prefers Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification or comparable certification.
  2. Prefers four years of experience developing and overseeing the implementation of IT compliance programs.
  3. Prefers four years of experience conducting IT system auditing.
  4. Prefers four years of experience applying multiple Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies to projects.
  5. Prefers four years of experience conducting IT project management.

Conditions of Employment

  1. Requires ability to pass a criminal background check.
  2. Overtime is a condition of employment, and you may be requested or required/mandated to work overtime including scheduled, unscheduled, or last-minute overtime. This may require the ability to work evenings and weekends.
  3. Requires ability to attend seminars, conferences, and trainings to stay current on methods, tools, ideologies, or other industry related topics relevant to the job duties.
