Essential Functions
- Under immediate supervision of the Operations and Programs Division Manager, and under the day-to-day supervision of the Reproduction Service Supervisor, serves as the Reproduction Services Technician.
- Performs various functions in cooperation with the Fiscal department to research, request, order, obtain status and receive supplies.
- Processes all incoming and outgoing packages and correspondence.
- Transports mail or other documents by automobile to proper destinations.
- Sorts USPS, UPS and CMS mail, picks up and delivers mail to Central Office workstations.
- Assist with the transportation, set up, breakdown and recovery of equipment and supplies for agency events and programs.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
Minimum Qualifications
- Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to the completion of high school.
Preferred Qualifications
- One (1) year of experience utilizing skill in the operation of mail barcoding/sorting equipment.
- One (1) year of experience utilizing skill in the operation of mail inserting equipment.
- One (1) year of experience utilizing skill in the operation of high-speed mail equipment.
- One (1) year of experience working with mechanical mail equipment operation principles.
- One (1) year of experience following and oral and written instructions.
- One (1) year of experience processing computer generated documents ensuring compliance to Agency, State and Federal regulations.
Conditions of Employment
- Requires ability pass a background check.
- Requires ability utilize office equipment, including personal computers.
- Requires ability attend seminars, conferences, and trainings to stay current on methods, tools, ideologies, or other industry related topics relevant to the job duties.
- Requires ability to travel in the performance of duties, with overnight stays as appropriate. Requires appropriate, valid driver’s license.
- This position is considered medium work as defined by the U.S. Department of Labor (20 CFR 404.1567(c)). Medium work involves lifting no more than 50 pounds at a time with frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
- On-call and overtime are a condition of employment, and you may be required to work overtime including scheduled, unscheduled, or last-minute overtime, and may be required to work alternating weekends. This requires the ability to work evenings and weekends.
