Essential Functions
- Under general supervision, serves as a Junior Developer for the Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT) supporting the Illinois Department of Healthcare of Family Services (HFS) by performing difficult professional work at an intermediate level in the administration and development of web-based Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, Microsoft SharePoint, or Adobe Experience Manager solutions from project definition to successful implementation
- Performs assignments of limited scope and complexity in implementing Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, and Microsoft Power Platform and related technologies including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Visual Studio, .NET, C#, HTML, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), Extensible Markup Language (XML), JavaScript, Standard Query Language (SQL), MS Office 365 applications and other collaborative solutions
- Assists with efforts to gather user requirements
- Keeps abreast of new developments in the information technology field by continuing education through online training platforms, meetings, training sessions, seminars, and conferences to increase familiarity with and remain current on products, vendors, techniques, and procedures
- Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above
Minimum Qualifications
- Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of two (2) years of college with course work in computer science or directly related fields
- Requires one (1) year of Application Services or related Information Technology experience
Specialized Skills
- Requires two (2) years professional experience with Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, Microsoft Power Platform and related technologies including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Visual Studio, .NET, C#, HTML, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), XML, JavaScript, SQL, MS Office 365
Preferred Qualifications
- Two (2) years professional experience with Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, Microsoft Power Platform, and related technologies including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Visual Studio, .NET, C#, HTML, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), XML, JavaScript, SQL, MS Office 365
- One year (1) experience performing difficult professional work at an intermediate level in the administration and development of web-based Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, and Microsoft SharePoint solutions from project definition to successful implementation
- One year (1) experience performing assignments of limited scope and complexity in implementing Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, and Microsoft SharePoint solutions
- One year (1) experience assisting with efforts to gather user requirements, develop specifications for Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, and Microsoft SharePoint solutions, and offer technical guidance to other team members in the implementation of those specifications
- Working knowledge of information technology concepts and principles, the theories and functions of computer systems, and the principles and techniques of information technology documentation
