Essential Functions
- Serves as Licensing Compliance Chief
- Manages, monitors, and evaluates foster home licensure information reflected within the daily SACWIS system report to ensure that licensed foster homes are reported to DCFS and the appropriate POS agency
- Serves as working supervisor
- Provides analysis of Departmental foster home licensing programs and makes recommendations to increase effectiveness and efficiency
- Provides input into the development of training programs and functions as a trainer for new program techniques/initiatives and policy/procedural changes for DCFS and POS staff regarding licensure
- Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated
above
Minimum Qualifications
- Requires a master’s degree in social work or a related human services field from a recognized college or university.
- Requires three years of progressively responsible administrative child welfare experience with an MSW OR four years of
progressively responsible administrative experience with a master’s degree in a related human services field.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in the issuance, denial, and revocation of licenses for professional services.
- 3 years of management experience in a professional business or public agency.
- 2 years of experience utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint in a public or private organization.
- 3 years of professional experience developing corrective action plans in a public or private organization.
- 3 years of professional experience conducting program monitoring in a public or private organization.

Economic Interest are also required to file the Supplemental Statement of Economic Interest with the Executive Ethics
