Position Overview
Under direction, conducts data entry for the department’s Constituent Customer Services Unit. Organizes, scans, maintains, codes, files, and distributes documents and data for daily jobs and projects as required by processing procedures or as directed by superiors. Serves as primary point of contact to create and transmit information through direct daily contact with constituents via assigned applications and computer-based systems. Assists superiors by providing guidance and assistance to new staff regarding job assignments, procedures, processing updates, and general operations. Attends and participates in team and unit meetings along with recurring trainings.

Essential Functions
- Under direction, conducts data entry for the department’s Constituent Customer Services Unit.

- Attends and participates in team and unit meetings along with recurring trainings to maintain optimal Constituent Customer Services Unit processes and procedures.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
Minimum Qualifications
- Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to completion of high school and two years of office experience.
- Requires the ability to keyboard accurately at a rate of 45 words per minute.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prefers at least two years of data entry experience.
- Prefers at least four years of professional office experience.
- Prefers at least one year of experience in heavy use, navigation, and modifying Microsoft Excel, Microsoft SharePoint, and other document and content management software.
- Prefers at least one year of experience conducting customer service by 1) phone, 2) email, and 3) in person.
Conditions of Employment
- Requires completion of a background check and self-disclosure of criminal history.
- Requires the ability to conduct medium work as defined by the U.S. Department of Labor (20 CFR 404.1567(c)). Medium work involves lifting no more than 50 pounds at a time with frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
