Essential Functions
- Serves as Receptionist for the Bureau and assists with the coordination of regular business functions.
- Assists with processing, promoting and creating materials for the Bureau of Marketing.
- Coordinates the inventory of bureau's fleet, telecom, information technology (IT), office equipment and hardware.
- Carries out such advanced word processing functions as uploads and downloads of files, file merges, developing form letters, templates, glossaries and archives.
- Maintains procurement files and paperwork.
- Serves as primary person for the Marketing Bureau's record retention and archiving.
- Serves as a backup for Market News and Data entry.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonable within the scope of duties listed above.
Minimum Qualifications
- Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to two years of secretarial/business college, or completion of high school and two years of related office experience, or two years of independent business experience.
- Requires the ability to keyboard accurately at 30 wpm.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prefers extensive knowledge of office practices, procedures and programs.
- Prefers extensive knowledge of composition, grammar, spelling and punctuation.
- Prefers extensive knowledge of basic mathematics.
- Prefers working knowledge of the logic of computer programs.
Conditions of Employment
- Requires completion of a name-based background screening and self-disclosure of criminal history.
- Requires ability to travel in the performance of duties, with overnight stays as appropriate. Requires appropriate, valid driver’s license.
