Essential Functions
- Responsible for receiving, reviewing and processing the Hemp program applications
- Assists the Hemp Program with the gathering, tracking, monitoring and processing of information and documents regarding program activity, compliance, etc
- Acts as a liaison between vendors, direct service providers, licensees/registrants and the general public
- Develops spreadsheets, prepares correspondence and maintains data for the Hemp program
- Provides guidance and training to various cannabis personnel regarding Hemp Program systems and procedures
- Performs other duties as assigned or required which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
Minimum Qualifications
- Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to two years of secretarial/business college and one year of office experience, or completion of high school and three years of office experience, or three years of independent business experience.
- Qualifying state employees in the Upward Mobility Program may complete combinations of specific proficiency tests and training programs leading to a certificate of proficiency in lieu of the stated requirements for this classification.

- Prefers extensive knowledge of composition, grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Prefers extensive knowledge of arithmetic computations.
- Prefers extensive knowledge of office practices and procedures.
- Prefers extensive knowledge of manual and automated office equipment.
- Prefers working knowledge of agency programs, rules, and regulations.
- Prefers working experience to instruct, guide and train others.
Conditions of Employment
- Requires completion of a name-based background screening and self-disclosure of criminal history.
- Requires ability to travel in the performance of duties. Requires appropriate, valid driver’s license.
