Position Overview

The Office of Finance and Administration within the Illinois Department of Public Health is seeking an SAP/HANA professional to assist with the needs of the agency.  This position will create budget reports, revenue, and cash reports, automate functions, and create dashboards.  These reports will detail budgets at various levels, expenditures, grant spending, and any additional reports as required by the agency. This position will complete a review of agency functions to determine how SAP/ HANA could assist. These updated and actionable reports will empower management to evaluate efficiency, increase the speed of grant payments, and reduce turnaround times for fiscal payments.

Essential Functions

  • Create budget reports that display by each office, division, cost center, and other agency-specific fields.
  • Create reports showing budget, allocation, and expenditures.
  • Create revenue/ cash reports.
  • Create federal project reports with allocations and spending.
  • Create automatic functions; and create dashboards.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Requires a Bachelor's Degree.
  • Requires five (5) years of experience generating complex reports using SAP/ HANA.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Five (5) years of experience generating complex reports using SAP/ HANA or creating reports in similar systems, experience developing training manuals and developing written procedures.
