Position overview:

This position serves as a Senior Systems Analyst in the System Support Unit within the Bureau of Key Information Delivery System (KIDS). Essential Functions
- Under administrative direction, serves as a Senior Systems Analyst for the Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT) supporting the Department of Healthcare and Family Services (HFS)
- Serves as a project leader on assigned major components of a large system
- Consults with user groups to establish requirements relative to production and program problems
- Keeps abreast of new developments in the Information Technology (IT) field
- Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of duties enumerated above
Minimum Qualifications
- Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to four (4) years of college with course work in computer science or directly related fields
- Requires three (3) years of professional experience in application support services or a related Information Technology field
- Requires three (3) years knowledge of Information Technology concepts and principles, the theories and functions of computer systems, and the principles and techniques of Information Technology documentation
- Requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to travel
Specialized Skills
- Requires three (3) years of experience with document management and imaging solutions software
- Requires three (3) years of experience with Automated Voice Response Systems (AVRS)
- Requires three (3) years of experience with .Net or MS SQL
Preferred Qualifications
- Three (3) years of experience with document management and imaging systems
- Three (3) years of experience with Automated Voice Response Systems (AVRS)
- Three (3) years of experience with .Net or MS SQL
- Three (3) years of experience working with hardware and software, languages, and procedures to provide technical and analytical services
- Three (3) years of experience defining, evaluating, and solving difficult administrative, organizational, technical, or operational problems where solutions may be of a precedent-establishing nature
- Three (3) years of l experience conducting analysis for system conversions and enhancements
- Three (3) years of experience presenting technical information to others in verbal and written form with clarity and precision

- Requires ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 20 pounds. This is considered light work as defined by the U.S. Department of Labor (20 CFR 404.1567(b)). Light work involves lifting no more than 20 pounds at a time with frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 pounds
